CHENGXIN

The Longjin Stone Candle Holder is the gold medal winner of the 2024 Bao'an Cultural and Creative Design Competition. The work is inspired by the Longjin Stone Pagoda, a historical relic in Shajing, Shenzhen. It extracts the meaning of the ancient pagoda to suppress water, and spreads the meaning of smooth sailing through modern design. The solemnity of the ancient pagoda is cleverly integrated with the art of modern life. The center of the stone pagoda is hollowed out and transformed into an aromatherapy candle holder. The relief of the Buddha statue appears in the candlelight, hidden in the daily life, as if silently guarding every user. This is not only a daily necessity, but also a mark of the inheritance era of art and culture, carrying the wish for a better life, adding a cultural business card to Shenzhen.
