纹样万花筒-中华纹样数字展览举办于由废弃啤酒工厂改造而成的深圳天河城·金啤坊，分为数字展陈、学术沙龙、创意集市和视听音乐节四个板块呈现。纹样万花筒名字来源于在改造后的啤酒筒仓内部呈现的纹样数字展陈，宛如一个巨大的万花筒。根据中华纹样数字展览的主题从中国传统中的经典物件中提取了四个中华纹样的经典形态：马王堆汉墓漆器、唐银皿、玉珮、铜葫芦，与展览选址金啤坊的啤酒筒进行图形与建筑的结合产生的视觉效果。

Pattern Kaleidoscope - Chinese Pattern Digital Exhibition is held in Shenzhen Tianhe City - Golden Beer Square, which is transformed from an abandoned beer factory, and is divided into four sections: Digital Exhibition, Academic Salon, Creative Bazaar and Audio-visual Music Festival. The name "Kaleidoscope of Patterns" comes from the digital exhibition of patterns presented inside the renovated beer silo, which looks like a huge kaleidoscope. According to the theme of the Chinese Patterns Digital Exhibition, four classic forms of Chinese patterns were extracted from classic objects in Chinese tradition: Mawangdui Han Tomb Lacquerware, Tang Silver Dish, Jade Pui, and Copper Gourd, which were combined with the beer silos of Golden Beer Square, the site of the exhibition, to create a visual effect of graphics and architecture.
